Poison kills!!??
There is no need to add “kills” behind the word “Poison”. The word “Poison” itself is enough for even a small child to understand, what it does. However, I still chose to title this blog that way, because, sometimes, despite knowing many things, many people under-estimate or misinterpret the effect of the various kinds of poison that they consume or absorb. It is poison, and yet they almost relish it. Its time to shout, “Poison kills, Poison kills!!”
I will talk about “Bitterness“, a big time killer. It sprouts from “Unforgiveness“. How difficult it is to sometimes forgive someone for the way they hurt us? The tendency to not forgive is at times directly proportional to the intensity of the relationship and also to the intensity of the hurt. It becomes more difficult when our own people hurt us. We all, sometime or the other, suffer with this emotion of being hurt and of nurturing unforgiveness and slowly growing bitter inside. (more…)

A frustrated jobless youth strangled his mother to death for denying him money and kind of taunting him on his state of life!
The news left me in a shock. The mother who bears so much pain to give birth to her baby and just forgets about her pain totally for that joy that captivates her when she sees the little life in her hands, a part of her being.
This youth did not even remotely hesitate to kill his mother, let alone feeling any pain or remorse. It seems relationships do not matter any more in our educated, scientifically advanced world.
The world rather values the robots (that will catch the waves of your mind and do exactly what you want) more than the living human beings that live around, as the “dear” ones who are no more so dear, I guess. (more…)

“Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness…” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them… God saw all that he had made, and it was very good…”

“mmm… this dress does not suit me…give me another one”….well this statement is old. Now the trend has changed.
Now it sounds like this…”mmm… this nose does not suit my face structure, give me another one!!!”

Shocked?? I was, when I learned about this new trend that is “in” among the youth of this generation particularly the teens. Today, the teens are ready for undergoing an operation at a very young age for making the desired “alterations” in their body for the “feel-good” factor. It supposedly makes them more confident and boosts up their morale. They are even ready to suffer the side effects of these operations in order to look good. (more…)

Dowry, Abuse for money, Harassment by husbands and in-laws to satisfy the greedy hearts, Beaten up for property, Left by the husband for not being gifted with costly enough gifts by her parents, Threatened at gun point for money…so on and so forth. Even today in this educated society of ours, these are the cases that flood “the case files” in every police station and the numbers never decreases. My father being a cop has been dealing with various cases, majority being on the issue of disturbed family relations, and even more, disturbed marriages. I remember the last time I was home for a vacation and went thru a few case files which were overflowing with complains of the wives and the daughter-in-laws pleading for justice and it was no different the next time I looked thru the case files. It all makes me feel as if, what we call the “institution of marriage” has reduced to a “market place” and people are reduced to “objects” or “commodities”. The higher the price you pay to sell your commodity, the better she is taken care of and if not, she will be turned to ruins in this educated sophisticated society of ours where I thought dowry was a crime.
