Planning & Strategy for 2008-09
By: Santosh (April 8th, 2008)Come first week of April and you’ll find it very difficult to get a hotel booking in all the best locations in the country. Reason being almost all sales driven organization will be having their strategy meet or plan for the year 08-09.
I sometimes imagine that when God created us, He too would have indulged in a huge planning exercise. Only difference was that He was planning not for 08-09 or 09-10 but “0000-eternity”.
He then would have divided the planning according to continents, nations, countries, states, cities and then finally to each and every individual. What this individual will do,what he will not do, whom he/she will marry, where he will work, how much he will earn, how many kid/s he will have….Am i getting boring??? Some might feel that. But yes, I think He would have planned to that much detail.
In our business of Retail, their’s a line that goes… “Retail biz is detail biz”. And God is a God of details.
But you know why I’m telling this?? In my first instance of a company meeting, the goal of the company at the end of all these meetings is only one…TO MAKE MONEY.
But what about God??? What’s his singular goal -TO MAKE MAN COME BACK TO HIM. And you know what’s at the end of the day??? UNBELIEVABLE GULPS OF HAPPINESS.

And would you like to know in which glass this happiness is poured in right now??? No, its not a silver glass, a gold glass, or for that matter a Borosil glass… It’s the glass by the brand name “JESUS” on it!
And for those of you who are thinking whether they’ll get a kick after drinking this!!!?? I tell you once you had it you go on such a HIGH that you’ll never come down. Come drink from the Glass - “JESUS” and you can’t imagine how much Gulps of Happiness can be poured in it!! And you know what, the Glass will just overflow…
