Reckless Rockers
By: Geo (July 28th, 2008)You must understand this, that in the last days distressing times will come. For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, inhuman, implacable, slanderers, profligates, brutes, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to the outward form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid them!
For any generation, these are really tough and seemingly rude words. However, the acridity pales off before the events that play out before us daily. The news pouring in from different corners of the globe are appalling and shattering and only confirming to the confession we read above.
The 17 serial blasts across the city of Ahmedabad on July 26, 2008, especially the twin blasts that happened inside the Civil Hospital, even as blast victims from other places were being treated there, were well orchestrated to fulfill the heinous and devastating effects that they eventually did achieve. Around 50 dead, about a 100 injured, thousands effected, lakhs terrorised and the whole system shaken up!
Why do people do such unreasonable things, especially those that victimise the innocent? There are a innumerable conclusions that different people can arrive at to this question but at the same time, not a single convincing one. And there apparently seems to be no remedy too. But the fact remains that we truly and surely are surrounded by people who have done and will still do things deplorable and unthinkable.
Coming back to the beginning of this blog, those are words from the Bible. Though the Bible has been ridiculed and looked down by many at every opportunity, though people have dissected it and criticized it, people like Voltaire have predicted its doom, and Caesars and other powerful rulers tried to retard or eradicate its spread and acceptance, and conspiracy theorists have tried to expose alleged discrepancies and scandals, the Bible somehow has withstood all this and much more while each of its opposers has faded away into history.
Moreover, it has proven itself especially through the fulfilment of the prophecies mentioned in it. Having grabbed the attention of a seer as renowned as Nostradamus, the Bible has appropriately predicted the mood and milieu of the end times.
Much more has been predicted in there about these times and there are alarming details. Its either to be ignored, as most will choose to do or taken very seriously. Each man to himself.

The serial bomb blast of Ahmedabad and Bangalore proved that common man people are not safe. The blood of innocents today asks questions “why did we pay this meaningless price?” In the history, it records that by spreading blood and terror, no purpose have been served. I think terrorism itself has no answer, what it wants on the cost of others’ lives.
Terrorists are the products of mindless body, the body that live in darkness and don’t have guts to be human. Oh! Brave? They are pure timid faces and coward character.
At the end, here or above, they have to pay the price.
