Coming out of darkness

Saturday, August 29th, 2009

Hi Tizzy,

You might be wondering why I walked out of our relationship and how it all came to an abrupt end. Well, for me it was never a relationship in the first place but just a ‘one minute stand’ that we used to share every now and then when we had nobody else to hook up with on that day. I would like to say that I have been bailed out for one lasting relationship. (more…)

The Gospel of Neetu Chandra

Saturday, July 4th, 2009

Neetu Chandra did succeed in churning up a dust storm in the media with her newest pose, which according to many of her applauders was bold. Honestly I feel, she doesn’t realise that she is too naive and is being used as an object to feed the media pages with sizzles. The journalist and the media group that put up her larger than life images, I am sure would not have been filling the pages with tons of support and appreciation nor felt the pride if it was their daughters, sisters, wife or mother. But then who cares when you get a free ride on someone and they allow you to use their story to spice up hungry audiences and heinous ends. The sickening thing is that even she seems to be loving it, and appreciates the raving eyes and desires of debauched minds of people that feed in with a peep in to her - what they call truckloads. A Case of a Homosexual!

Sunday, March 8th, 2009

The author of the famous book “Purpose Driven Life”, Rick Warren was asked by President Elect Barack Obama to deliver the invocation at his inauguration ceremony. This apparently harmless choice got boiled over into a political debate and controversy. Some were opposing it because of Warren’s Evangelical allegiance but most decrying it because of Warren’s stand against Homosexuals and Gay Marriages. The topic occupied so much print space that the interest in the invocation threatened to supercede the interest in the inauguration itself!

It’s amazing how the society has transformed in the last few years. From hush-hush discussions to become a voice of reckoning on national and international issues, homosexuality has come a long way. The fight of the homosexuals doesn’t end with the subject of their right to marriage. They are fighting for parenting rights too! It’s such a big debate that the proponents of the Gay movement say, “The last decade has seen a sharp rise among gay people planning and forming families through adoption, foster care, donor insemination, and other reproductive technologies so much so that the current period might be remembered in history as a lesbian and gay ‘baby boom.’” (more…)

Asking Science – To gay or not gay

Friday, October 31st, 2008

The Ahmedabad Mirror (TOI) reported today news on the Delhi High court’s stand on a matter regarding the Center’s move on banning gay sex. Chief Justice A P Shah incidentally has asked the Centre, Quote: “show us some scientific report which says that gay sex should be criminalized”. Unquote Now that’s the Chief Justice demanding science, to prove that Gay sex is wrong and is an evil that is detrimental to the society. Apparently the Centre quoted some religious text condemning the act and had requested criminal provision against homosexual acts stating it is required to curb the spread of HIV infection. It further said that homosexual behavior is a reflection of a perverse mind and it could not be allowed in the society, things which are quite easily & intuitively perceivable, without a PhD in Science. Naturally Wrong, Unnaturally Right

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

Every morning I approach the news papers with the fear of getting de-sensitized. Today for instance, The Times of India, Ahmedabad Edition carried news about an act of unnatural proportions – Man having sex with a calf! The matter was brought in to light due to the animal protection activists you may read the entire article here.

Thank God, there are at least some people in the society (People for Animal) who think that there is something called as evil / wrong and the matter was brought to light. A voiceless animal found some one who could fight for its cause; unfortunately our big mouthed society has none! (more…)

Adam and Steve

Saturday, July 19th, 2008

While the third world countries are struggling with issues such as food shortage, unemployment, illiteracy, population control, low per capita income, inflation, communal and casteist struggles, poverty, natural calamities, insufficient resources, utilities and infrastructure, health and hygiene etc, the United States and many countries in Europe are fighting and arguing about something that most people in the world are not even able to think about -‘Gay Parenting’!

It’s such a big debate that the proponents of the Gay movement say, “The last decade has seen a sharp rise among gay people planning and forming families through adoption, foster care, donor insemination, and other reproductive technologies. The current period can therefore also be called a lesbian and gay ‘baby boom.’” (more…)
