Few days ago I was attending an official meet from our compnay at Ahmedabad Management Association. As usual there’s no proper parking space at the institute so there where hundred’s of car parked on the road. I along with three of my other collegues having not found any place parked our cars outside a society’s gate. In the midst of the meeting on of my collegues who’d to leave early for an appointment called me franatically saying that “all my four wheels have been punctured”. Initially I thought that he’s just joking, but it was not so as he franatically called me and texted me eventually forcing me to come down. And what do I see? All four wheels out of air. And not only mine all three cars where punctured, in all twelve tyres! (more…)

Reading one of the newspaper articles which was titled ‘The sound of one cheek slapping’ which dealt with the concept of doing good for every evil act emphasized the need for such behavior in our society today. It started by saying that there are two versions of dealing with a wrongful act in the Bible, one in the Old Testament (Era before Christ) and the New Testament (Christ and beyond). It said that ‘the Bible explicitly endorses the ancient Babylonic code of Hammurabi when it sanctions the vengeance based ‘an eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth’ prescription as a form of social justice’ in the Old Testament. 6.10 am, Bodeli, Gujarat. A state transport bus carrying approximately 50 people is travelling towards Dabhoi. Out of the total passengers about 45 are school children going to give their final exam.
6.15 am, the bus reaches the Narmada Canal overbridge and tries to overtake a truck that is already almost there on the bridge and so he speeds up.
6.15 am, Right front wheel of the bus hits the foot-path on the bridge at great speed, snapping a thick metal rod connecting the two front wheels and the steering wheel. The wheels froze at the angle at which it hit the foot path. With the connection between the wheels and the steering rod snapped, the driver had no control over the bus anymore. He was not a driver anymore, just a mere spectator, albeit for a few seconds more! The bus jumped the foot path, burst through the concerete railings and plunged 60 feet into the canal. (more…)
