Powerfully Powerless!!

Wednesday, May 14th, 2008

It was mid April when I read about the elaborate plans of the Chinese government, on how they are preparing themselves for the upcoming Olympics. Frankly, I was quite impressed about the level of thought & effort they are putting in, to make the event a success. Abhishek was upset with his grandmother using his room as he could not get his dose of horror and porn clips which he used to watch on his computer, he said. Abhishek was told by his parents to share a room with his brother, Viren. (more…)

In the set of rules, I noticed that, gone are the days of  a match ending up as a tie or a draw. The rules ensured that one of the teams ended up as a winner. Now I know that most of you will agree to the new format. But we are forgetting that this game is a gentleman’s game! Or should I say “was”! Gentlemen fought their matches with zeal and perseverance but were also willing to acknowledge their inability to defeat the other team and were ready to share the honors with them, thus sharing the points, sharing the win. But ‘No’. (more…)
