To BE ABLe!

LIFE LESSONS

A little boy was overheard talking to himself as he strutted through the backyard, wearing his baseball cap and toting a ball and bat. “I’m the greatest hitter in the world,” he announced. Then, he tossed the ball into the air, swung at it, and missed. “Strike One!” he yelled.

Undaunted, he picked up the ball and said again, “I’m the greatest hitter in the world!” He tossed the ball into the air. When it came down he swung again and missed. “Strike Two!” he cried out.

The boy then paused a moment to examine his bat and ball carefully. He spit on his hands and rubbed them together. He straightened his cap and said once more, “I’m the greatest hitter in the world!” Again he tossed the ball up in the air and swung at it. He missed. “Strike Three!”

“Wow!” he exclaimed… “I’m the greatest pitcher in the world!!”

I wish I could do that. Nothing had changed but suddenly the boy started seeing it differently. He never gave up on himself like most people would have. I don’t know what became of that boy but there are plenty more young ones who missed making an impression with their talents when they were young and/or at the beginning of their careers.

Issac Newton did poorly in grade school and was considered “unpromising.” When Thomas Edison was a youngster, his teacher told him he was too stupid to learn anything. He was counseled to go into a field where he might succeed by virtue of his pleasant personality. Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team. A newspaper editor fired Walt Disney because he “lacked imagination and had no original ideas.” Winston Churchill failed the 6th grade and had to repeat it because he did not complete the tests that were required for promotion. And this list goes on and on. They all never gave up on themselves! Neither should any of us.

Just want to leave a thought this morning that really encourages me and hope it encourages you too.

Your Thinking decides what you Believe.
Your Belief decides your Expectations.
Your Expectations decides your Attitude.
Your Attitude decides your Behavior.
Your Behaviour decides your Life.

T BE ABL, that’s how I remember it. Thinking-Belief-Expectations-Attitude-Behavior-Life! To BE ABLe!!

Evaluate what and how and why you think that way you think, because, it decides your destiny especially when it is about yourself, it decides your life.

really its our thought patters that decide our life….”as a man thinks in his heart…so is he..!!” so lets think about what we are and keep thinking…and lets think about good things as mentioned in the blog post by jincy.

its all about how you think..you can either live in remorse and regrets or making the most of every opportunity…choosing to be joyous and to spread the joy around…being aware and conscious of what we r thinking, believing, expecting, what attitude we r carrying, how we r behaving and finally where we r going in life…what destiny are we choosing for ourselves….THINK ABOUT IT…!!!

    GOD BLESS

The way you think is more powerful than what you believe. You can believe things and never do them. Whatever you think, that is what you do. What you hear, you think. What you think, you believe. What you believe, you keep thinking. What you think, you become…as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he (provers 23:7)
